Want to win thousands and thousands of dollars? Yeah you do.

Calling all photographers and artists! Virtuosos, your time has come. The winner of The Doug Moran National Portrait Prize will receive $150,000 while the winner of the Moran Contemporary Photographic Prize will receive $50,000. Entries for both prizes will close in just one week. Your artworks must be submitted by 4 pm on Wednesday August 31.

The winner of this year’s Portrait Prize will be selected by renowned artist Anne Wallace and art historian and gallery director Doug Hall. This year the photographic prize winner will be selected by photographic historian Alan Davies, the emeritus curator of photographs at the State Library of New South Wales, as well asJon Jones, director of photography at the Sunday Timesin the UK. The 2016 winners will be announced on Wednesday October 26 at Juniper Hall in Paddington.
