The Friends of Harry Series will feature Hong Kong’s Yardbird restaurant for its fifth instalment.

Harpoon Harry’s have poached Hong Kong’s Yardbird restaurant to feature in in their Friends Of Harry food series, with Harpoon Harry chef Morgan McGlone and Yardbird co-founder and executive chef Matt Abergel teaming up to create a special a la carte menu for the occasion.

A one-off experience set to take place on the Sunday of the Labour Day long weekend, the internationally-recognized Yardbird izakaya (informal gastropub) specializes in chicken yakitori skewers, with an emphasis on celebrating and perfecting the core ingredients of charcoal, fire, salt and chicken. Accompanying these delicious treats will be fried wings, along witha number of Abergel’s signature vegetarian dishes such as KFC (Korean Fried Cauliflower), and rice cakes with furikake seasoning. As the dishes are of a smaller size, it’s designed to be a communal share-plate experience, so best to bring a group of friends!
