This spring, a little slice of France will arrive closer to home.

Acclaimed international chefFrederic Colinof Brasserie Gavroche in Singapore will be opening his first Sydney restaurant, Bistrot Gavroche.Colin will give Sydney a splash ofclassic French bistro cuisine to complement the eclectic mix of culinary options springing up onKensington Street.

Bistrot Gavroche will occupy a space in one of Kensington Street’s oldest warehouses, dating back to the 1800s. The Old Rum Store will now be home to Colin’s restaurant, combining Sydney’s heritage with France’s culinary history.

Located on the edge of the landmark Central Park development in Chippendale, Kensington Street has become a bold new home for restaurants, cafes, small bars, markets, galleries, innovative retailers and creatives.
