The Movie Club at Museum of Sydney will celebrate some of Sydney’s most prized filmmakers over the next few months, announcing three local documentaries.

The Movie Club, curated by The Festivalists, will feature the likes of Gracie Otto’s The Last Impresario, a throwback to the life of Michael White. The esteemed producer is responsible for the production of classics like The Rocky Horror Show and Monty Python’s The Holy Grail.

The program also features 88 and Tender, which focus on taboo subjects like white Australia’s black history as well as death.

The films will be showing at the Museum of Sydney on Sunday June 28, Sunday July 26 and Sunday August 30 from 11am to 1pm. For more details, head here.
