Gathering and presenting archival material is an art form that is well overlooked. OzDox is paying homage to Australia’s best crate-diggers and documentarians who specialise in the creative use of archives withMaestros Of The Archive.

Part screening, part discussion,Maestros Of The Archivewill see prominent names in film such as Paul Clarke, Shane McNeil, Jeni Thornley and Nicole O’Donohue reflect on their use of archival material in their works, and why it’s best not to get rid of all those clips of your kids causing chaos in the kitchen.

Maestros Of The Archivewill be showing Wednesday August 13 at AFTRS in the Entertainment Quarter. Entry is free, donations are smiled upon.
