To celebrate its 50th birthday, PACT will be finishing off the year with a three night presentation of their Artist-in-residence film performance, Lovely.

Directed by Jackson Davis, a member of the Re:group performance collective, Lovely is a live film performance that recreates the vast filmography of Philip Seymour Hoffman, reincarnating him onstage.

Using video, choreography, sound and a mix of electronica, the live performance has been described as a part love letter, part eulogy to the star.

With the help of PACT’s 12-month artist in residence program, Re:group was able to develop its performance and create a cultural and physical space for its ideas to be expressed.

Lovely will take place from Thursday December 11 – Saturday December 13 at PACT.
