Internationally acclaimed, Melbourne-based photographic artist Polexeni Papapetrou opens her Lost Psyche exhibit at the Stills Gallery in Paddington.

InLost Psyche, Polixeni Papapetrou portrays emblematic figures that have come to the end of their tradition, their rationale, their place in the world. These intriguing and charismatic characters—the poet, the tourist, the immigrant, among others—bring to life antique Victorian paper masks.

Her work has featured prominently in galleries around the world including the recent Dong Gang International Photography Exhibition in Korea, as well as her work being held in a number of galleries including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Monash, Victoria and the Museum of Fine Arts in Florida, USA.

Lost Psyche will run at the Stills Gallery, Paddington from Wednesday October 29 to Saturday November 29. More information can be found here.
