The Powerhouse Museum has long been a pioneer of innovative, daring and informative exhibits. Come June, its doors will be wide open to a colourful world of immersive information and culture. In partnership, both the Sydney Observatory and the Australian Museum will too open their intriguing exhibits to the public.

The Powerhouse Museum, Sydney Observatory and Australian Museum have held a beloved place in the lives of those who have called Sydney home for decades. From a young age, these houses of cultural, scientific and historic significance have been places of interactive learning and inspiration.

Come one June weekend, all these houses of eclectic knowledge will be free to the public to meander and gaze at will. In the pursuit of innovative and engaging art thePowerhouse Museum and Sydney Observatory will also be hosting a premiere art event for Sydney – guests will be the first to engage inTanabata: Star Village,an interactive community art exhibit celebrating the Japanese fable of the night sky.

The Powerhouse, Sydney Observatory and Australian Museum will be free to enter on Saturday June 25 and Sunday June 26.
