The Western Sydney performing arts centre Riverside Theatres has just released details of its 2016 season, offering a diverse program that delves into stories of human condition from the past, present and future.

Productions from major Australian arts companies including Bangarra Dance Theatre and its Helpmann Award-winning showTerrain,Griffin Theatre Company and Bell Shakespeare co-productionThe Literati,and 2013 Pulitzer Prize-winning playDisgracedwill all make their way to Parramatta as part of the season.

Featuring heavily on the bill is Sydney-based theatre company, Sport For Jove, which will present three shows – Michael Gow’s Away,Sophocles’Antigone and William Shakespeare’sThe Taming Of The Shrew,all off the back of critically acclaimed sell-out seasons.

Director of Riverside Theatres Robert Love said, “The 2016 program has a diverse offering for all ages, backgrounds and tastes. Riverside Theatres is a fantastic place for audiences and artists alike to meet and participate in performing arts of all shapes and sizes.”
