The words “Texas-style barbecue” can only mean finger lickin’ goodness and the need for several napkins – and with Dan the Man, it certainly does.

On the first Friday of every month for the rest of the year, America’s Dan the Man is bringing his own brand of barbecue to town andwill light up his smoker for uniquelycarnivorousevenings, appropriately dubbed Up In Smoke.

Meat-lovers can head down to The Field at Eastern Suburbs Rugby Club for a night of slow-smoked, Texas-style beef brisket, pulled pork and a rotating selection of meats including beef sausage, pork ribs and chicken wings. As the succulent meats come out of the smoker, they are carved by Dan on the spot and served American-style on trays with classic barbecue sides of mac and cheese, coleslaw, dirty white bread, pickles and jalapenos. All this drool-worthy grub for a meager $35 ticket.
