Vivid Ideas, the program that will bring over 400 speakers to Australia as part of the 2016 Vivid Sydney festival, has finalised its full list of events.

Joining a calendar that already includes headline events on the Vivid Ideas Game-Changers program, with appearances from filmmakerSpike Jonze, House Of Cards creator Beau Willimon, Orange Is The New Black writer/creator Jenji Kohan and Australian fashion icon Margaret Zhang, are a huge parade of influential minds from around the globe.

The latest highlights on the Vivid Ideas program include an ‘in conversation’ event with film directorJocelyn Moorhouse (The Dressmaker), presented bythe Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts, and aWomen in Electronic Music Symposium held across three days of debate and performance.

Meanwhile, the nerdier aspect of the program is getting a boost from Robowars, bringing its Australian-themed crocodile ‘Deathroll’ robot to our country for the first time, and aSydney: Code in the Park event at Central Park, sponsored by Yahoo and General Assembly.
