To make things even more awesome in that neck of Surry Hills, Goros has announced Toho Nights, a new collaboration with Sydney DJ Jay Katz.

Japanese street food, karaoke booths and good music, what more could you want? Inspired by the film studio behind Godzilla, Toho Nights is Jay Katz’s first regular party in over a decade and will include a range of special guests and cheeky surprises.

For the opening night, Katz will be joined by Jeff Duff, Crookedmouth and Miss Death for daring and ecelctic DJ sets incorporating traditional Japanese instruments, a Geisha dancer, astounding Mu Menson Archive visuals and vintage oil lighting. To top it all off, entry is free.

Toho Nights will take place at Goros in Surry Hills weekly from Thursday August 6, info through Facebook.
