Alex Watts has announced that he will be launching his new EP, Sing, Strum & Strut, with a nine-show tour around the country this August and September.

The tour kicks off in Melbourne where Watts, frontman of Alex Watts and The Foreign Tongues, will be backed by an eight-piece band featuring members from Saskwatch, The Hello Morning and Eagle and The Worm. He will then head off to Hobart, Adelaide, Wollongong, Newcastle, Sydney, Byron Bay and Brisbane.

Watts spent most of 2013 touring Australia and the UK as a solo artist, with his forthcoming EP marking his first solo release.

Alex Watts will take over The Petersham Bowling Club on Sunday August 31.
