One of the most talked-about fundraisers on the Sydney event circuit, Art of Music is back for another stunning program.

Art of Music Live is an extension of the Art of Music series. The series sees prominent visual artists produce pieces inspired by iconic Australian and New Zealand songs. The original pieces are then auctioned off, with all proceeds going towards Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy.

Art of Music Live brings together an array of talented Australian musicians who will bring the artworks to life in incredibly unique and moving performances.

This year’s event will see Billie McCarthy, James Reyne, Jonathan Zwartz Ensemble, Mark & Lily Lizotte, Ngaiire, Thief, Minnie Cooper, Steve Balbi and Gagpoint take to the stage to perform their own interpretations of the artworks.

The Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy organisations transforms lives through music. It breathes new life into people with speech difficulties, motor-skill troubles and dementia through the power of musical therapy.

Art of Music Live will take place at the Sydney Opera House on Thursday July 16
