The pair of troubadours are hitting up the Opera House.

In a very literal case of getting two for the price of one, folk lovers will be able to see legends Billy Bragg and Joe Henry perform alongside each other in the beautiful confines of the Opera House.

The balladeers released an album together this year, the rust-covered and distinct Shine A Light, and are both united by a shared sense of political defiance. Neither artist has ever been content with taking restrictive government policies on the chin, so audiences can be assured that the show will be full of fire, fury and a distinct strain of hope.

It’s all going down on Wednesday April 19 at the Sydney Opera House. Tickets go on sale on Monday October 31, via the Sydney Opera House website.
