Next year, the Sydney Lyric Theatre will play host to the world premiere of Dream Lover, The Bobby Darin Musical.
Cementing its place as Australia’s live performance capital, Sydney will draw an estimated 29,000 visitors to our humble shores for Dream Lover, The Bobby Darin Musical, the story of the legendary American singer, songwriter, actor and musician.
Referencing the 1959 song of the same name, Dream Lover will explore the fascinating life of the Grammy-winning singer and Oscar-nominated actor, as well as feature a range of music genres. Including such 1960s hits as ‘Mack The Knife’, ‘Splish Splash’ and the musical’s namesake, the production is set to be an unforgettable night out.
Dream Lover, The Bobby Darin Musical will be staged at the Sydney Lyric Theatre in September 2016 for a ten-week run. More information will be available through the venue.
