Corinne Bailey Rae is set to make her Australian debut at next year’s Bluesfest in Byron Bay, now adding a Sydney headline show to her trip.

Thetwo-time Grammy winner has gone on to sell over five million albums in the decade since releasing her debut self-titled album.

Her latest release,The Heart Speaks In Whispers,peaked at number 3 onBillboard’s R&B chart, withNPR naming it one of the albums of the year so far.

Corinne Bailey Rae will play Metro Theatre on Sunday April 16. Tickets go on sale Wednesday October 26 through ticketek.Byron Bay Bluesfest will be held at Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm from Thursday April 13 until Monday April 17 2017.
