Brisbane instrumentalists Ghost Notes have confirmed a Sydney date in January as part of their album launch tour.

Moonlight State is the third album by the band, which draws comparisons to acts such as The Dirty Three and The Necks. The band will be joined by a mixed bill of dreamgaze outfit Cull and The Seaport & The Airport, a solo electronic project from Sydney.

Ghost Notes play at Petersham Bowling Club on Sunday January 18.
