After 12 months of hard work, Sydney indie outfit Kim Killspeed are about to drop their debut EP Ultrasound, due May 30.

The album was recoded at Everland Studios with producer and engineer Ben Worsey. After forming at the end of 2013, the six-piece have showed off their versatile playing styles in their live act, playing everything from soft folk to blues to upbeat punk.

Only a night after playing a May 29 show at Ruby L’Otel in Rozelle, the Ultrasound album launch will be at Lazybones Lounge in Marrickville. Joining Kim Killspeed for the launch will be indie rockers Piperlain and punks Lion Calamity.
