This month’s Sydney networking event, being held ahead of South By Southwest 2016, has locked in its lineup of guest speakers who’ll share their insider tips for prospective artists and delegates heading to Texas next year.
The news follows the announcement of the event at Newtown Social Club, at which networking drinks will be followed by a panel of local industry guests and experts. Following the talkfest,there’ll be a screening of Outside Industry, the film about the evolution of the world’s most famous music conference.
The industry panel will feature Julia Natoli (Channel [V] program manager and music director), Mark Berry (VML design director), Marc Sousley (general manager, Secret Sounds Touring and formerly C3) and Brad Thomas (travel guru and official SXSW agent). It’ll be monitored by SXSW Australia and Hawaii rep Phil Tripp.
The networking event, panel and screening will take place at Newtown Social Club on Tuesday July 14. Entry is free.
