Community collective Reclaim the Streets is set to rally together in peaceful protest against the Sydney lockout laws.

The organisation, whose mantra embodies being a resistance movement in opposition to dominant corporate forces, is headed out into the streets of Sydney once again with a mobile protest festival that aims to share with Sydney the music that people are missing out on thanks to Premier Mike Baird’s lockout laws.

Beginning at Wynyard Park with 11 stages, city residents can enjoy performances from every area of music: techno, reggae, hip hop, rock bands and more. Themusic and the message will be taken to the streets, in an effort to impress upon #CasinoMike the slogan, “We want a free, music city, not a music-free city”.

At 4pm on Saturday March 19, the Reclaim the Streets protest meets at Wynyard Park.
