Students of Rosie’s School Of Rock ‘Girls Rock’ mentoring program are being given the chance to jam with Sarah McLeod (The Superjesus) at Lizottes Newcastle at the end of this month.

Tailored for young women trying to break into the music industry, the ‘Girls Rock’ program provides students with ambassadors who are positive female role models from both the music industry and corporate world.

The program aims to develop self-esteem, creative expression and community awareness through rock music.

The other ambassadors announced are Belinda Smith (Hunter Tafe) and Kerryn Scully (NBN television)

McLeod and The Girls Rock students will come together Friday August 21 at Lizottes Newcastle. Check out the rest of Rosie’s School of Rock program out here.
