Shovels & Rope and Shakey Graves will bring their Americana tunes to Australia next year for a co-headline tour.
The tour will mark the first trip to Australia for both headliners and will see them hit Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth. Shovels & Rope is made up of husband and wife duo Cary Ann Hearst and Michael Trent, who met when they were pursuing solo careers. The pair released their sophomore album Swimmin’ Time last year.
Joining Shovels & Rope will be Shakey Graves – the stage name of Alejandro Rose-Garcia. Rose-Garcia will bring his unique blend of ‘anti-folk’ to Australia, showcasing his latest album And the War Came – due out in February.
