Tumbleweed have announced they will celebrate the 20 year anniversary of theirGalactaphonicalbum with a national tour, kicking off this August.

Following the success of their debut album Tumbleweed in 1992; a period that saw the band tour the US, Europe and the UK, support Nirvana on their 1992 Australian tour and criss-cross Australia playing countless dates – 1995 saw Tumbleweed release its follow up Galactaphonic.

This year Galactaphonic becomes SuperGalactaphonic, expanding the original 13-track release to a 34-track celebration.Included in the set are the nine B-Sides/EP tracks from the album, seven previously unreleased live tracks from triple j sessions around the release, and five cassette demo recordings recently unearthed by the band; alternate versions of ‘Hang Around’, ‘Gyroscope’and B-Side ‘Round The Bend’– alongside two unreleased tracks.

Tumbleweed will take over Manning Bar on Friday September 11. Tickets are on sale through the venue.
