Vivid LIVE has announced the first artist for its 2016 program, and she’s a winner. Anohni, the artist formerly known as Antony Hegarty of Antony and The Johnsons, will join the lineup for the staggeringly popular annual Sydney event.
Anohni’s voice is the stuff of legends: trembling and powerful, emotive and blistering. Her addition represents not only the event’s significant pulling power, but also its focus on the contemporary cutting edge, making the anticipation for future artist announcements palpable. Prepare thyself.
