Music festivals have become a right of passage for many merrymakers. Now, Australian photographerNic Bezzina turns his lens from the stage to the masses to capture the quintessence of festival culture.

Bezzina’s photography bookRelease The Crowddocuments the mad lives and good times of hundreds of thousands of people across five countries and 11 unique music festivals. This series of images turns the camera away from the bands and focuses on capturing the emotion of the individual in the crowd.
